Saturday night was my pre b-day bash and I must say that I really had the hottest dates for the evening.
First stop was Sushi Groove in the SOMA district of SF. So the sushi here are just semi-okay. The rolls taste better on the menu. You are better off ordering one of their main dishes. I had the Seabass on a bed of spinach and soy vinaigrette...yum!
What I really like about Sushi Groove are the cocktails and the ambiance of the place. The lighting was perfect. We all had this amazing glow. I had the Ginger Lime Sake Cocktail followed by a small bottle of Nigori. I'm really starting to like Sake. It's so smooth and easy to drink but it's a creeper!
Afterwards we went to Bubble Lounge. Between the six of us, we polished off two bottles of the bubblies. Yes Champagne still makes me loopy but democracy wins, right? I had my say with the cocktails :)
