I can finally check Surfing off my beginner's list. I can't believe I waited this long.
Timing is everything. I am now ready.
Ready to be a Beginner once again. Ready to make mistakes, ready to wipe out at least a half a dozen times just to ride a wave. Ready to get sand in my hair even if it meant that it will end up on my bed.
I'm ready to take risks again. I took a break for a bit. Biding my time for my next move.
How can I love something that I have only done for the first time? It's possible.
Me being here, at this time in my life is a miracle in and of itself.
I thank God, the Universe, the Source everyday.
I caught three waves today but wiped out about a dozen times in between. Someone once told me that doing something good for yourself three times resets your soul. If that is the case, then my soul has been reset to Beginner mode.
I earned this hat for catching the waves I did today while reciting lines from the movie Point Break - the cute surfer dude made me say it... so cliche!
"I'm an FBI agent"
"I'm Surfing!"
"That would be a waste of time"
